Testimonials
“We were involved in strategic decision making and communications to all the stake holders of the organization about the ongoing performance and future course of business. Kaz was always known for his innate ability for the strategic thinking and clear and precise communication skills. Kaz-san was hardworking, value driven professional with deep understanding of business needs, customers, competitors and our own strengths and weaknesses. What impressed me the most was, Kaz-san’s passion about clear and precise communication; focus towards strong inter-personal leadership; clear thought process; passion for coaching and mentoring young leaders; and his insistence on powerful technical writing with thoughtfully chosen messages. “

“His academic paper entitled “Benefits of English Debating Practice for Japanese to Be Effective in Inter-Cultural Communication and Collaboration” explores the benefits of Japanese business people acquiring skills in Western-style English debate so that they can be good communicators in a global setting. The paper included an explanation of the typical format of a debate, necessary skills for debating, how to acquire such skills, and contrasts between the Western communication style and that of Japanese. From the viewpoint of its flow, its quality, and format, I would rate the paper an “A” grade at the graduate level. His English skills in both writing and speaking are extremely high for a non-native speaker of the language. In fact, I have never met with any Japanese businessmen whose English skills are as high as Kaz’s.”

“The seminars Kazuyuki offered to us were not only very insightful and informative, but were also cross-cultural, based on his 26 years of both living and working experiences in the United States. The comparisons he drew between Western communication culture/system and that of Japanese were very well-researched and well-articulated. His theory of English communication as the fundamental functions of international communication and construction of business strategies were exceptionally balanced. His deep belief in the basic requirements for the leadership group, which consisted of communication skills, habits of mind, understanding, and mindsets was extremely inspiring to all members of the team who attended the seminars. Based on the work ethics that Kazuyuki exhibited at Enkei America through his seminars, he has a clear understanding of how high quality communication can be core solutions for many issues and tasks today’s international business are faced with.”
